Clearing your second home, without having to be there
An apartment by the sea or a holiday home in the Westhoek, and you live far away or abroad. We handle everything on site. You follow along by phone, email or WhatsApp.
The situation
Clearing a second home is hard when you do not live there. Every trip to the coast costs you a day, the syndic wants to know when the lift will be in use, and in the season there is nowhere to park.
Often it is a sale, an inheritance or an apartment nobody uses any more. We take care of the practical side. If you prefer, you never have to travel to the coast for it.
How it works from a distance

You send photos or a short video
Through the form, WhatsApp or email. With those we can already give you a price range, so you know where you stand.

You choose how we get in
Through the syndic, the estate agent, the notary, a neighbour or a key safe with a code. You do not need to be there yourself.

Home visit and one fixed price
We look at the home on site, with you on the phone or on video if you like. Then you receive one fixed price on paper, by email. Only once you agree do we plan the clearance.

The clearance
We agree the day with the syndic, take care of the lift and apply for the permit in front of the door ourselves if needed. You receive photos at the start.

Handover and the key back
Left broom-clean, with photos of every room. The key goes back wherever you want: to the syndic, the estate agent, a neighbour or into the key safe.

You choose the date
Is there a date it depends on, like the deed or the first viewing? Tell us, and we plan the handover around it and agree the day with the syndic.

Tell us what stays
Selling furnished, or is the buyer taking over something like the table or the sofa? Tell us in advance or send a photo, and it stays where it is.

Keep the electricity on
Only cancel electricity and water after the handover. Nobody clears a cellar storage room without light.
What you want to keep is kept
Documents, photos and items of value are set aside. You get a photo of them and decide what happens to them: we hand them to whoever you choose, for example the notary or a relative nearby. If in doubt, we call you first.

Questions about a second home
Do I have to be there myself?
No. Not for the home visit and not for the clearance. We work with the key from the syndic, the estate agent, a neighbour or a key safe. You receive photos at the start and at the handover.
How do I get a price if I live far away?
Send us photos or a short video and you get a price range straight away. The fixed price on paper follows after the home visit, which can also take place without you. You receive it by email. Only once you agree do we plan the clearance.
Do you arrange things with the syndic?
Yes. We let them know when we are coming, book or protect the lift, and apply for the parking permit in front of the door ourselves if needed. These costs are included in the fixed price.
What happens to documents and valuables?
We set them aside, following our protocol. You get a photo of them and decide what happens to them. If in doubt, we call you first.
